Surf City Hostel

Steps away from the beach, Surf City Hostel is an exceptional accommodation option for CELTA trainees. Surf City Hostel is located in Hermosa Beach, a great area full of opportunities for beach volleyball, dining, and nightlife, and is a short 15-minute drive to the Teaching House Los Angles center. The hostel can also be reached by public transportation in about 40 minutes.

Dormitory style rooms are available with either 4 or 6 beds in each room and are equipped with bed linens. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom. All female rooms are also available.

Breakfast is included in the nightly rate. There is also a fully equipped kitchen available for use. Guests can relax by watching satellite television in the lounge. The hostels is equipped with wireless Internet throughout.

Be sure to book your stay in as much advance as possible, as this is a very popular place. During the high season (April 1 through September 31) beds are $30/night.

Homestead Extended Stay Studio SUites

Only half a mile from our center in Torrance, Homestead Extended Stay is a great option for CELTA trainees who are coming to Torrance without a car. This hotel is especially designed for long stay guests. Each room is equipped with a fully functioning kitchen, television, and work space. All guests will also have access to on-site laundry. Internet can be purchased for $4.99 for the entire length of stay.
