Candidates pay the enrollment fee ($200) once they have been accepted into a course. There is NO application fee. Once the enrollment fee has been received, Teaching House will confirm that the candidate has a place on the course. We cannot confirm a place until the enrollment fee has been paid. The enrollment fee is not refundable, but can be used towards any other course within 12 months of your application.

Because places are limited on the Teaching House CELTA (the maximum number of trainees is 6 for each trainer), it is advisable to apply for a place as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Payment of the course fee ($2,495) is due three weeks before the course starts. Course participants are reminded of this by email one week prior to the due date.

In total, the course fee for both the intensive (full-time) and extensive (part-time) CELTA course is $2,695.
